Kanban news

Did you catch the Blooming Marvellous show this morning on Create and Craft with Keith and Dean? If not, it is available on catch up now here. It's a lovely kit and has everything you need to make gorgeous cards, especially if you are in a hurry! Also, if you like decoupage, there are plenty of lovely images which can be built up with foam pads.

You can see the lovely samples made by the Design Team on the Pinterest board dedicated to the Blooming Marvellous kit.

So onto the Kanban new item #2

As the poster says, Kanban are opening a new factory shop. The address will still be Aspire Crafts, 2nd Floor New Mill, Wellington Mills,Quebec Street, Elland, West Yorkshire, HX5 9AS but they are moving down to the floor below. The offices and production will still operate from the top floor of the building but the outlet shop will take over the whole of the first floor. I will bring you more news as I get it so please keep popping back!.

Kanban Christmas

I will be bringing you an assortment of Christmas cards in the run up to 'the big day' not only from the design team but also by our super talented members of the Kanban and Aspire Facebook groups. Classic Landscapes

The third October kit released from Kanban is called Classic Landscapes and it is an absolute stunner and (in my opinion) it's a perfect kit for making cards etc for men! Sue and Keith will be showcasing the kit on Friday at 10.00 am and 6.00 pm and as always they would love it if you could join in and give them your support. Who knows, if you email into the studio you could win one of Sue's fabulous Kanban creations.

I have a few Design Team samples for you from the Classic Landscapes kit and will be back tomorrow with more. I hope you like what you see.

Woodland Friends 2

Just a quick note to let you know that Keith will be on Create and Craft this evening between 6.00 pm and 7.00 pm. He will be showcasing the very beautiful Woodland Friends kit along with presenter Andy Love.

The following card was made by Josh whose mum, Tracey C is part of the Kanban Design Team and is very proud of her son for making this beautiful card. Well done Josh.  :)

Kanban Clearance

Pretty In Lace

As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago Kanban have just released a new kit and it will be showcased as the One Day Wonder on Create and Craft on Monday at 4 pm and 7 pm and on Tuesday at 11 am.

 The fan was made by Celia Harrington from the Design Team.

The design team received this kit last week and we have all fallen in love with it. As you can see from the flyer the colours are a real feminine mix of pinks and aquas in lace and floral papers and toppers and it's a real joy to work with and when you see it you will know why it was called Pretty In Lace! There are plenty more samples available to see on the Kanban Facebook page for you to take inspiration from when your kit arrives ;) My favourite Kanban kit to date, I think has to be the Denim and Lace kit (with the pink and blue owls) however, I think this kit has beaten that one into second place now :)

Don't forget to join Sue and Keith for the shows on Monday and Tuesday, I'm sure you will love what they have to show you.

Create & Craft shows

Just a quickie tonight to let you know that Keith is appearing on Create and Craft in the morning. He is on at 9.00 am with Natasha McCarty and will be demoing the Selection Box kit and the ever popular Wobblers and will be on again at 6.00 pm with Rachel Pierman.

Here are a couple of my own samples as I forgot to photograph them before I posted them back to the office!! Our lovely DT Leader, Sue took the photos for me....thanks Sue, you're a star x

The shows will be repeated on Tuesday (8th) at 4.00 am and on Wednesday (9th) at midnight and 9.00 pm.

I do hope you can manage to catch at least one show over the week and you definitely need the Selection Box kits and the Wobblers to add to your stash ;)

Selection Box part 3

Good morning everyone, thanks for your comments and and support for the latest Kanban kit, The Selection Box. Don't forget that there are several Kanban items on Create and Craft this morning in the Monday Morning Craftiness show at 10 o'clock.

This morning I have a few more samples made by the Design Team for the Selection Box show on Friday with Keith and Denise. Did you get yours? Have you paid a visit to Aspire Crafts yet? This is the home of Kanban and there are some wonderful goodies which are desperately looking for new homes ;) Go on, you know you want to lol.

Sue made this beautiful card, I just love that butterfly!

Tracey C made this fabulous bunting. It's amazing how different the samples are that the team create with the kits.

This card was made by Debbie J, isn't it just gorgeous? I've never made a shaped easel card so it will have to go on my to do list.

And finally for now, this lovely creation was made for us by Linda.

One Day Wonder

Did you manage to catch the shows with Denise, Keith and Martyn yesterday on Create & Craft? I'm away at the moment but have the shows recorded for when I get back and I'm really looking forward to seeing them.I sent my samples back to the office and forgot to photograph them but Sue took some photos for me and will send them to me soon.

The girls made some amazing samples and we are always surprised at just how different our samples are when we all use the same kit.

Spot the difference

Did you watch the Bella Boutique shows on Monday? Did you buy the kit? Do you want some inspiration? then look no further than our blog, our Pinterest page or our Facebook pages. You must apply to join the Facebook groups before you can see all the fabulous creations in both groups! You can find us at For The Love Of Kanban and Aspiring Crafters both on Facebook.

So why my title you may ask! Well the DT was sent out the Bella Boutique kit a couple of weeks ago and between us we made approximately 75 cards and as no two of them were the same I thought I would show you a couple of my pieces that were used on the show (I still get a thrill when I see my work on TV :))

 The top two images are of my A5 gatefold "wardrobe card" which was made using the kit and the addition of some silver mirri card which is stunning and available from Aspire Crafts here. It has such a high reflection on it that you can almost put your make up on in it! It is by far the best mirri card I have ever used.

As you can see, this is a little calendar made using the kit, a 6" x 6" ivory card, the kit, a small piece of ribbon for the hanger and a calendar tab. These would make a lovely gift for teachers and are very cost effective.
