We have a new team member of the Kanban Design Team to introduce to you and I'm sure you will all make her feel very welcome.......so without further ado, please welcome Tracy Jones. There will be a lot of you out there who will know of Tracy and her beautiful work so here's just a little bit more
Welcome Tracy, I hope you'll be very happy on our little team :) Back soon x
Here is another gorgeous Christmas card from one of the members of the Kanban Facebook group, For The Love Of Kanban and this time the cards are made by Fiona Henderson.
Aren't these Wobblers just so cute? This next card is also from Tracey C from the Design Team

Each time a kit from Kanban is released Sue sets up a Pinterest board so there is loads of inspiration to be found on there. There are more than 500 pins featuring an assortment of Kanban kits. We can be found on Facebook at Kanban Crafts and there is always the shop web site which can be found at Aspire Crafts so if you're looking for inspiration there is inspiration in abundance :)
Thanks for dropping by and we hope to see you soon.
Well this is a first for me, I've never thought of trying to add a video to a blog post before so here goes! This video was made for us by Judith Taylor- Wright from the Kanban DT.
You can see Judith's work on her Facebook page and also on her blog (see the column on the right)
I've been trying to upload this video since last Thursday but my laptop kept freezing....I went back to You Tube about 15 minutes ago and hey presto! I managed to do it first time lol.
That's it for now. I shall be back later with some TV news and some more of the Design Team's cards from the Pretty In Lace kit.
Did you manage to catch the shows with Denise, Keith and Martyn yesterday on Create & Craft? I'm away at the moment but have the shows recorded for when I get back and I'm really looking forward to seeing them.I sent my samples back to the office and forgot to photograph them but Sue took some photos for me and will send them to me soon.
The girls made some amazing samples and we are always surprised at just how different our samples are when we all use the same kit.
This was made by Denise.
This one was made by Debby Thornton.
And this one was made by Nicola Morley. That's it for now but I will be back later with more lovely samples. In the mean time we can be seen on Pinterest at Aspire Crafts and Facebook as well as all the individual blogs by the design team. Take care, Speak soon Jackie
Ok, so you've bought the kits and then what? I have sat, so many times, surrounded by Kanban kits and not had a idea of where to start with them, so you are not alone. This is where we (the Design Team) can help you :) You can become a member of our Facebook groups
or follow us on Pinterest. Every time the DT are sent a new kit Sue sets up a new Pinterest page for us to add our work too so if you follow us you will receive a notification every time someone uploads a project onto any of our boards....and there are quite a few more to the ones I have linked to below!
Did you watch the Bella Boutique shows on Monday? Did you buy the kit? Do you want some inspiration? then look no further than our blog, our Pinterest page or our Facebook pages. You must apply to join the Facebook groups before you can see all the fabulous creations in both groups! You can find us at For The Love Of Kanban and Aspiring Crafters both on Facebook. So why my title you may ask! Well the DT was sent out the Bella Boutique kit a couple of weeks ago and between us we made approximately 75 cards and as no two of them were the same I thought I would show you a couple of my pieces that were used on the show (I still get a thrill when I see my work on TV :))
The top two images are of my A5 gatefold "wardrobe card" which was made using the kit and the addition of some silver mirri card which is stunning and available from Aspire Crafts here. It has such a high reflection on it that you can almost put your make up on in it! It is by far the best mirri card I have ever used.
As you can see, this is a little calendar made using the kit, a 6" x 6" ivory card, the kit, a small piece of ribbon for the hanger and a calendar tab. These would make a lovely gift for teachers and are very cost effective. Well that's it from me for this month and I will be back just before Christmas. Take care and happy crafting Jackie xx
